Main Screen

Overview

The Main Screen interface of Solution Mobile provides quick navigation between the various aspects of Solution Mobile. Quickly Navigate between the features: (Agent Selection, Alarms and DataViews. Data View Editing The main editing activity for the Main Screen is the creation addition or deletion of Data Views. Press on the Add New View Table Entry and Enter the title for the New View. Solution Mobile will ensure that the name for the new view is unique. To delete entire Data Views swipe the desired Data View that you wish to delete and press the Delete Button that appears. This Deletion scenario follows the basic iPhone interface standard and is used to delete Agents, Data Views and Data Items.

Persistence

Solution Mobile Automatically stores all user entered data after entry. All added Agents and Data Views (with associated Data Items) are persisted by the application. The next application launch will return the user to the Navigation Screen and establish connections to the Agents that have previously been selected.

Resetting the Program

Configurations of loaded Agents and Data Views with their persisted views can be cleared by removing the Data Views and then their Agents in that order.   Delete each Data View from the Main Screen and then select the Agents Item on the Main Screen and remove each connected Agent with the same Delete gesture.

Data View

Overview

The Data View Screen interface of Solution Mobile allows the user a customized view of any data on their network. The user can create any number of Data View Screens. Each Data Item is show with an associated Icon to suggest the type of the data item.

Adding/Removing Data items


The buttons in the upper right corner of the display allow the user to add additional data items to the display. Individual data Items are added by selecting the:
The user is then presented with the Data Item Selection Screen(see below). Entire Devices or Components from MTConnect Agents can added by selecting the: The user is then presented with the Device/Component Selection Screen.
To delete entire Data Items, left swipe the desired Data Item that you wish to delete and press the Delete Button that appears. This Deletion scenario follows the basic iPhone interface standard for Table Item Deletion.

Persistence

Solution Mobile Automatically stores all Data Views. Upon launch, Solution Mobile automatically restores all Data Views and their associated connections to their Agents.

Alarm View

Overview

The alarm screen interface of Solution Mobile provides A quick view off all alarms on all Connected Agents. Alarms are presented in Normal, Warning or Faulted states. As defined by the MTConnect® standard. Alarms are grouped by their associated agents.

Adding/Removing Alarms

The Alarms Screen is a read-only page. To view additional alarms from other Agents go to the Solution Mobile Main Screen and select Agents to add the new Agent. To remove alarms from the screen navigate to the Solution Mobile Main Screen and select Agents to remove the Agent.

Troubleshooting

As the Alarm Screen is loaded, each alarm is identified as being available based on the connection state of the associated Agent. If Solution Mobile wasn't able to connect to the agent then then alarm will show unavailable. To reconnect to the Agent, stop and start the application via the standard iPhone interface for applications.

Data Item Selection

Overview

The Data item Selection screen allows for the addition of any Data item of interest from any of the connected Agents from the Agents Screen. The User selects the Agent, Device Component and Data Item of interest from the presented selection lists. Below is an example of a selection list for a Component.

Press Add Data Item at the bottom of the Screen to add the item to the current View.

Troubleshooting

If a data item of interest is not available go to the Agents screen and ensure the proper agent has been added and is connected. All Data Items for any MTConnect agent can be accessed through this interface.
