The Boiler application monitors space temperatures, the boiler supply and return and outside temperatures to determine the most cost effective way to heat the space. The system ensures municipal requirements for minimum space temperatures are maintained. The system learns the boiler performance and adjusts operational parameters automatically. Alarms are sent to operations staff when the operation is outside the historical performance of the system.
As with all Solution Family systems, operations staff can observe historic performance of the Boiler system to determine maintenance routines. Operations staff set alarm conditions after which they are notified at both warning and alarm levels. Detailed alarms include sensor data and alarm limits. Re-notification of Alarms is limited to designated intervals as to not overwhelm email infrastructures in equipment hovering near alarm conditions.
