Solution Engine is the workhorse of the Solution Family.  It is a platform-agnostic application that runs on gateways as close to the data collection point as practical.  Solution Engine provides connection to sensors and data creators through a broad range of protocols.  It provides the ability to aggregate that data and run statistics and simple, local analytics through Rules, Collectors, Publications, Subscriptions and Statistics.  It also seamlessly connects to a wide range of on-site and cloud-based storage providers.  And if, somehow, the protocol, model or data storage back end you need isn’t supported, Solution Engine is also fully extensible through a simple interface-based API so you can extend it yourself easily, or we can assist you.
